The author thoroughly examines all types of biosensors available using Molecular imprint polymers (MIPs). These sensors are now widely used in the detection of contaminants such as in food, environmental, etc. with unprecedented sensitivity and selectivity. One of the objectives of this review is to provide a general overview of the types of sensors present such as: Capacitive sensors, Chemiresistor, Field effect transistor of chemical (CHEMFET), Electrochemical sensors, Piezoelectric biosensors, SPR biosensors, etc.
The author explains the topic clearly and simply, and acts as a trailblazer for future applications and developments in the field.
