While I appreciate the work that the author has done, there are some issues that must be addressed in the manuscript:
In the introduction: Write what “GDP” stands for, and why this indicator is important in economic analysis?
“80% of Sudan’s poor live in rural areas depending on agriculture directly or indirectly” You early mentioned that Sudan’s economy depends on agricultural products…Then how poor lives rely upon it? Would it better to mention the impact of agricultural sector on the economy rather than using this sentence?
“According to the World Bank, Sudan’s population reached 40.23 million by the year 2015” What is the relationship between the population and agricultural sector?
“also last year rural areas experienced a huge diesel shortage….” Kindly provide reference/references for this sentence!
“In 2016 the ministry of water resources irrigation electricity (MWRIE) established Solar Water Pump (SWP)….” Kindly provide reference/references for this paragraph!
In the paragraph “The SWP in the Northern state implements the innovative National Solar Fund” What do “SWP” and “MoEFP” stand for?...... also “….as the first end-user financing schemes in Sudan” What is your reference for this information?
What is the objective of this study (should be written at the end of the introduction)
“This paper aims at conducting a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT), analysis, of this financing mechanism. SWOT analysis is mainly divided into two clusters, internal and external.” This sentence should be removed to the introduction.
Before Figure 1, new section should be written to show the general information of the scheme, its objectives and its components!
The components (Solar Modules, Pump,…..) should be numbered!
Kindly clarify how the assembly of these components can accomplish the scheme objectives identifying the mechanisms!
Write about SWOT analysis in the introduction as an overview showing its importance and procedure!
What are the processes that you carried out to conduct a SWOT analysis in the methodology? You did mention anything about this analysis at all.
In both Conclusion and Abstract: Quantitative results should be presented as they will help in improving these sections.
