            TERRY CURTIS is professor in the Department of Communication Design, California State University, Chico, CA, USA.

            PETER DRAHOS is Professor of Law at the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.

            THOMAS ALURED FAUNCE is jointly appointed as a Senior Lecturer in the Medical School and Law Faculty at the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.

            ZHICUN GAO was a Lecturer in Economics at Peking Normal University. He has recently completed his Ph.D. at the University of Queensland, Australia.

            MARTYN GODDARD is a former Australian Broadcasting Corporation journalist and documentary maker who became involved in national pharmaceutical policy through his work in HIV/AIDS. He is a former consumer member of the Australian Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee and for several years was a member of the Australian National Council on AIDS and its clinical sub‐committee.

            DAVID HENRY is Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Newcastle, Australia and a practising physician at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Newcastle. He is a former member of the Australian Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee and was chair of its Economic Sub‐Committee.

            BUDDHIMA LOKUGE is a Visiting Fellow, Medical School of the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.

            RACHEL PARKER is Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies, School of Political Science and International Studies, University of Queensland, St. Lucia, Brisbane, Australia.
