We have tried in this document to rectify some errors and omissions for the article “A prelude: introduction to irregular sequences and functions” in order to make it a bit more easily readable and clear. There are no noticeable mistakes in the flow of reasoning but only these errors and omissions. Replacement words have been highlighted bold herein and in the edited document .
The end of the introduction of the document being rectified ends with the words “a separate delve into”. We add the words “in this paper” to complete the sentence and improve readability. Now the sentence will end “a separate delve into, in this paper” to clarify where.
In the definition given for the addition interchange process, we removed the word “but” in between the word “other” and the word “adding” and replaced it with “and” instead. The sentence will now read “This is a process of adding one thing interchangeably with the other and adding every time to the previous term (or number).” The word “and” inserted has been highlighted in bold. The sentence being rectified is on the paragraph on page 2, above table B.1.1.
The word “object” has been replaced with the word “common difference”. We did this because we want it to be clear of what we speak of and the word “object” is not clear and can be misleading. We also rectified the sentence grammatically. The paragraph we have been rectifying is situated on page 2 above table B.1.1.
We have added a paragraph, just after the paragraph below table B.1.2. the paragraph that was originally below this table B.1.2, has been separated into two for being long. All of these is on page 3.
On page 2 below table B.1.2, we also removed the word “case” with the word “column” and included first or second to indicate which column of the table we are on.
Below table B.1.2 on the fourth paragraph, we have replaced “numbers of a string” with “members of a string”, that means, we have changed only “numbers” to “members”.
We have inserted the word “the” in between the word “time” and the word “number” on the first sentence of the paragraph below table B.2.2 on page 5. This was done to improve readability.
On the closing paragraph of section B starting with “What we can learn from these two addition interchanges.” we have rectified a spelling of the word Repetition, from “repetion” to “repetition”.
On the first paragraph below sequence (S.2.3) we have substituted n with i and have removed “equal” with “independent variable or paths leading to our { values.”
There is a concluding sentence inserted on page 8 above section D below table C.2.2.
Page numbers now appear at the bottom right of the page.
