Abstract

Resumo Animado pela efeméride dos 70 anos do assalto ao quartel Moncada, início do processo revolucionário cubano, este artigo tem por objetivo analisar a relação entre as mulheres brasileiras que se empenhavam na luta armada contra a ditadura civil-militar e o treinamento guerrilheiro realizado em Cuba. Através da subjetividade da mulher militante, busca-se preencher uma lacuna historiográfica sobre as relações entre Cuba – e seu modelo revolucionário – e as organizações revolucionárias brasileiras. Embora de forma minoritária, as mulheres marcaram presença nos grupos brasileiros que realizaram treinamento na ilha a partir de 1964. Nele, sentiam as pressões e “mal-estares sem nome” diante de um modelo revolucionário e, especialmente, de um modelo militante pautado em uma perspectiva androcêntrica. Objetiva-se, portanto, lançar luz às clivagens de gênero e dificuldades impostas às revolucionárias brasileiras no contexto de predominância do foquismo cubano como estratégia revolucionária.

Abstract Encouraged by the 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada headquarter, the beginning of the Cuban revolutionary process, this article aims to analyze the relationship between Brazilian women who engaged in the armed struggle against the civil-military dictatorship and the guerrilla training carried out in Cuba. Through the subjectivity of the militant woman, it seeks to fill a historiographical gap on the relations between Cuba – and its revolutionary model – and the Brazilian revolutionary organizations. Although in a minority, women were present in the Brazilian groups that carried out training on the island from 1964 onwards. In it, they felt the pressures and “unnamed malaise” in the face of a revolutionary model and, especially, a militant model based on a androcentric perspective. The aim is, therefore, to shed light on gender cleavages and difficulties imposed on Brazilian revolutionary women in the context of the predominance of Cuban foquism as a revolutionary strategy.
